Compression Garment Folder

A flat folio with a folding board and a compression zip, for shirts, dresses and anything that goes straight from case to a meeting.

Compression garment folder lying open with three folded shirts stacked flat on its folding board
The board gives every shirt the same fold, which is what keeps the creases in one line.
Closed slim compression garment folder with the compression zip run round the edge and a carry handle
Closed, it is a flat slab that sits under the cubes or on top of them.

What it is

Cubes are the wrong shape for a shirt. Anything you fold small enough to fit a cube comes out with a crease across the chest, which is why shirts and dresses usually end up laid over the top of a packed case and then crushed by the lid anyway. A garment folder solves it differently: you fold each item once, over a board, so every garment takes the same wide fold and the crease lands on the same line each time.

Once the stack is built, the compression zip runs round the edge and pulls the whole folio down flat. Flat is the useful part. A compressed folio does not move in the case, and clothes that do not move do not gain new creases in transit. It comes out as one slab you can lift into a wardrobe, which is the difference between unpacking a suit bag in five minutes and steaming it for twenty.

What we ask before quoting a folder

  • 01What is going in it: shirts, blouses, dresses, or a jacket as well
  • 02How many items per trip, because that sets the depth we quote
  • 03Whether it has to fit a cabin case or a hold case
  • 04Whether you pack around it with cubes or fill the rest loose
  • 05Whether you need a second folder for the return journey

What moves the price

There is no price list on this page, because the number depends on the set rather than the item. These are the things that change it:

  • Folder depth, which follows the number of garments
  • One folder or a pair
  • Whether it is quoted on its own or inside a fuller packing set
  • Delivery address and timing

Where it goes, and the next step

We quote for delivery around ReadingReading, Caversham, Tilehurst, Earley, Woodley, Wokingham, Twyford and Pangbourne — in GBP, with the delivery option written into the quote. Tell us what a normal work trip looks like for you, and we will quote the folder depth that fits it and say honestly which of your items still belong in a cube.

From there it runs the same way as everywhere else on this site: we read the request, come back to agree sizes and quantities, confirm what is in stock, and send the quote in writing. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered until you have read that quote.
